Message from 90 SECOND PIZZA’s Founder Joe Farruggio regarding COVID-19

UPDATE #2: As of April 25, 2020, we have made the decision to open our stores again for delivery and carryout. Please visit the Order Online page for our delivery partners. For carryout, please place your order ahead of time online and pickup at our store. Thank you and we are looking forward being able to offer our Pizza with everybody again.

UPDATEAs of March 25, 2020, with much thought and consideration, we have decided to close our store fully to put our fullest effort into preventing any potential spread. We appreciate you all for sticking with us during these times and we hope to be back as soon as possible. We send our best wishes to you and your families.

Dear Friends and Members of the Media,

I would like to update you on the steps we are taking to keep 90 SECOND PIZZA safe for you and your loved ones.

90 SECOND PIZZA considers the health and safety of our guests and staff a top priority. Me and my team are working proactively during this trying time as concern grows regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all at our family restaurant.

The safety of 90 SECOND PIZZA loyal customers and your loved ones continues to be of primary importance to me and my excellent, hardworking staff. Out of an abundance of caution, I have decided to close down 90 SECOND PIZZA for dining and to continue to serve you through online deliveries and take-out only.

You can continue to enjoy our delicious Neapolitan pizza by ordering them through your preferred service including UberEats, Postmates, Caviar, Doordash, or Grubhub. Our vegan only menu will still be available exclusively on UberEats as well.

All the information you can easily access through our website (https://www.90secondpizza.us/order-on-line

This decision, I did not take lightly, but what it means to be an Italian means is to take care of and protect your family. You are 90 Second Pizza’s family and to assure everyone’s wellbeing and safety is at the core of the Italian soul. We are leading by example and I would encourage other restaurants to do the same.

Me and my team are monitoring developments from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health agencies for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and we will make adjustments and communicate, promptly, regarding any operational changes.

We will continue to keep you updated through email, our social media accounts, and the website www.90secondpizza.us. We highly recommend our customers to check our website for updates regularly and follow the health advice of relevant authorities.

Our hearts go out to the people and families who have been affected by this unprecedented event. Our thoughts are with you as we all work to navigate this challenging time.

Salute,

Joe Farruggio
